In April 1973, the collier Amberley, en route from Goole to Shoreham in Sussex was sunk during a force 10 gale four and a half miles off Blakeney Point. All the crew were saved by the heroic action of 22 Squadron Coltishall and 202 Squadron Whirlwind helicopters, Leconfield. This is all that remains of a lifeboat from the Amberley, now lying forlornly in Thornham Creek.

Our giclée prints are produced in Norfolk using light-fast heritage inks and fine papers. Prints are double mounted, wrapped and signed. Image size: A4. Overall size: 380mm × 330mm.
