[The Old Loke]

Loke or Loak is a dialect word derived from ‘loca’, the Old English word meaning enclosed space. In many Norfolk villages the lokes form enchanting footpaths, way-marked by splashes of colour created by a riot of roses, honeysuckle and hollyhocks.
